Orø Kro offers classic Danish cuisine with a focus on good ingredients. Here you can sink your teeth into a classic shrimp cocktail, salmon, wienerschnitzel, beuf bearnaise and open sandwiches.

Food is served on the terrace or in the charming historic yellow building from 1720.

At Langdalgaard, the stone oven is in full swing when it comes to serving pizzas accompanied by good wines or local beers. They also tempt you with French crepes from both the savory and sweet cuisine.

Orø Provianten by the harbor offers food, ice cream and drinks, and you can also buy fresh fish and smoked products. Bings in the old grocery store is also worth a visit, where you can be tempted by good food experiences, biodynamic wine and homemade juices and jams.

Orø Havnekiosk has almost done away with the usual deep-fried offerings. Instead, you can get a roast pork sandwich made from welfare meat from Grambogård, homemade burgers or various sausages made from meat from Grambogård's animal welfare pigs.

If you want to enjoy an ice cream with a view of the Isefjord, Orø Strandcamping is definitely worth a visit. The ice cream parlor at Orø Strandcamping serves delicious waffle ice cream from Isøre Is, which is also available lactose- and gluten-free! Here it is also possible to buy good coffee, beer & soft drinks. If you're hungry for more than just ice cream, Matildas restaurant serves food based on local and organic vegetables.

You can also park your caravan or pitch your tent at Orø Strandcamping.

If you don't have your own tent, you can rent a glamping tent right by the water or with a large terrace and a view of the zoo's aurochs. If you prefer to stay in a cabin, Orø Strandcamping offers A-cabins, barrel cabins and hobbit huts
